Mint with Chocolate Swirls Soap

This is my Newest Soap...Mint with Chocolate Swirls Soap.

Wow, talk about an indulgent bath!   It’s like bathing with a delicious Minty dessert with a deep chocolate undertone.   Of course this soap is made with real Cocoa butter, peppermint essential oil and real cocoa powder for the swirls. Doesn't it look Great and smells Great!

This is a great morning soap with it’s stimulating and invigorating aroma.  Peppermint essential oil is a great oil for reducing fatigue and to increases mental alertness.  Peppermint clears the head leaving you feeling fresh and bright.  Some of the medicinal properties associated with peppermint essential oil are:  analgesic, decongestant, expectorant, insecticidal, and stimulant among other.

This All Natural Coconut oil base soap contains real Cocoa butter.  Cocoa butter has a soft, sweet cocoa aroma and is one of the most stable fats known. Cocoa butter which is thought to reduce skin dryness and improve elasticity. Cocoa Butter is one of the most stable fats known and it contains natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity.  A coconut oil base creates a smooth creamy lather.  With a bit of Olive Oil for it’s nourishing properties and lastly, beeswax to extend the life of the soap.

As a soap all I can say is that this is a great aroma to start the day off with and a delicious, refreshing blend to end the day with.    Each bar weights approximately 5.5 ounces – net weight.   Price: $6.00

Dragonfly Necklace

Dragonfly's are said to be Dragons who had been tricked by an evil sorcerer.  The sorcerer wanted to contain the majestic creature's powers for himself so he trick the dragon by saying, "If you are truly a great and powerful breast you can do any, include become the smallest of creatures.  If you are as powerful as you say turn yourself into a fly."  The dragon wanting to prove how powerful he truly was took the sorcerer's dare and became a Dragonfly. The evil sorcerer immediately capture the great creature and trap him in a jar for him own pleasure.  It is now said that the Dragonfly contains the strength and power of a dragon, one of the most magically creatures ever to exist.

DIY - Strawberry Facial Mask

Making a Strawberry Facial mask is Fun and Easy
and the Benefits are Amazing!

Straw contains Alpha Hydroxy acid and Salycilic acid, and tons of vitamin c which are very good for the skin.  Salycilic acid and alpha hydroxy acid helps to exfoliate dead skin cells, as well as shrinks pores for brighter, healthier looking skin.  It also remove impurities, and inflammation, make this facial both cleansing and supportive to the skin.  The part is the antioxidants that strawberries contain.  They help to repair damage skin and counteract the effects of aging.

In our youth skin, our cells regenerate every 30-40 days. Unfortunately, as we enter own 30’s natural cell rejuvenation is slowed.   At this time, the skin can benefit from a strawberry facial mask.

Use at least twice a week during a longer time of at least three to six months to see lasting effects.  Here are some general tips for homemade facial masks:

  • Always apply facial mask starting at the chin and jaw area in upward stroke, till your reach the forehead.  This technique helps to prevent sagging.

BESTeam Feature: Crafting for the Soul

In spiritual work, meditation is very important. It keeps us grounded and sane! In order to meditate we must leave the logical world, (just for a little while) and enter a space of balance, and serenity.

For some, meditation is easily achieved; whether sitting in a chair or lying down, they can leave reality for a brief while and center themselves. Release all their tension, worries and are able to focus on what is important. For others, the thought of meditation is a nightmare. With too many thoughts to fight off and the strain of focusing to clear the mind, often result in more stress and even a headache.

But there are other ways to Meditate. For Maureen Kirchdoerfer, owner of Release Me Creations from Fort Worth, TX, crafting was a form of grounding and centering herself while her father, and Brave Knight underwent Cancer treatment. Here is Maureen’s Story…

Tiny Hand Bound Book Necklace
Vintage Almanac pages Brass Heart
Swarovski Crystal AB Pendant
In April of 2009 my Dad was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer. Eight months later, on January 2, 2010, he passed away after an incredibly brave and difficult battle with the disease. His loss to me was, and is still a crushing blow to my heart. He was a pillar of strength in my life. But from his ordeal, I learned how important it is to take advantage of every minute we have here on this earth. It made me realize the value of appreciating everything, and everyone I have, and how fleeting our time is here. Perhaps most importantly, I realized the importance of doing in those minutes the things that make your heart happy.

I began crafting jewelry while I was staying with my parents during my father's last months of life. In my down time I needed something to channel my energies in a positive way. I needed a distraction, and a release. I suddenly felt the urge to begin crafting jewelry. Call it chance, call it coincidence, or call it fate. All I know is that creating jewelry for me has become my meditation, my peace. I put so much of myself into each and every piece, that it creates an incredible release for my heart, mind, and soul. Thus, the birth of Release Me Creations.
This enchantingly Carousel necklace features a tiny little carousel that is freely movable. the little horse silhouettes contrast beautifully against as they go round and round. A tiny pink resin rose, and a tiny glass pearl rest atop the carousel to add that perfect dainty little touch.
As you can see, meditation can be achieved through various methods.  So next time you are overwhelm with life and need to release… Meditate and creating something beautiful!
