Lavender & Rose Bath Bomb

Lavender & Rose bath bombs smell lovely and are nourishing to the skin. The therapeutic properties of this essential oil blend include: anti-depressant, aphrodisiac, anti-spasmodic, antiseptic, sedative, and soothing..
  • 8 oz of sodium Bicarbonate
  • 4 oz of Citric Acid
  • 2-4 oz of Corn Starch (optional for silky soothe feel)
  • 1 tbsp. Sweet almond oil (grape seed oil will do fine)
  • 1 teaspoon of Lavender essential oil
  • 4 drops of Rose essential oil
  • 2-4 drops of natural red colorant or (food dye)
  • Witch Hazel
Sieve the Sodium bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Corn starch and mix in a bowl. Add the Almond oil, fragrance, color and jasmine essential oil slowly so you get the right blend for you. Now spritz lightly with witch hazel. Mix together until the mixture when squeezed doesn’t crumble. Press into molds. The bath bombs should be taken out of the would almost immediately and placed on greaseproof paper. Leave them to dry for at least 48 hours.

For Dad's:

Follow the DIY directions Above, substituting Essentials of Lavender and Rose with:
1 teaspoon Peppermint
2-4 drops Wintergreen (or spruce, balsam fir, cypress, marjoram or great for relaxing tired sore muscles)

Color:  uncolored, green or blue. Color lightly!
